Ok, I got a hold of the Stranahan and they are planning to begin seating at 6:45 PM, so we definitely want everyone to meet at the East entrance by 6:30 PM at the latest. Kern and I will be there about 6:00 PM. I forgot about a uniform of the day for the recruits. They should be in nice pants and a polo or button down shirt, not jeans and a white t-shirt. Basically, what they would wear to go to church. The concert has been sold out, so people need to contact me by Tuesday if they are going.[glow=red,2,300][

Young Marine Obligation From this day forward, I sencerely promise, I will set an example for all other youth to follow and I shall never do anything that would bring disgrace or dishonor upon my God, my Country and its flag, my parents, myself or the Young Marines. These I will honor and respect in a manner that will reflect credit upon them and myself. Semper Fidelis
Young Marine Creed *1. Obey my parents and all others in charge of me whether young or old. *2. Keep myself neat at all times without other people telling me to. *3. Keep myself clean in mind by attending the church of my faith. *4. Keep my mind alert to learn in school, at home or at play. *5. Remember having self-discipline will enable me to control my body and mind in case of an ** emergency.
Young Marine Hymn From the North and from the South we'll come From the East and from the West We will all enlist in the Young Marines And forever do our best.
From the halls of all the grammer schools To the shores of all our lakes we will be the finest Young Marines No matter what it takes.
Let the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts march; Let the Cub Scouts strut and beam Oh, you haven't seen the the greatest yet Til you've seen the Young Marines.
We salute the sailor boys in blue And the army in their greens. we are proud to bear the title of The U.S. Young Marines.

All Young Marines are to study their Young Marine Creed, Obligation, and Young Marine Hymn. These are three very essential things to have memorized. I want to hear all of your pretty voices next week at drill singing the Young Marine Hymn.
