The Young Marines of Northwest Ohio is a new unit under the command of the Ohio Regiment.  The unit was founded by Commanding Officer, Troy Campbell, a former US Marine.  The Young Marines of Northwest Ohio share the same mission as the other 240+ units nationwide, to serve as a youth education program for boys and girls ages 8 through high school completion.  The Young Marines promote the mental, moral, and physical development of its members, and the program focuses on character building, leadership and a healthy, drug-free lifestyle for its members.

Our first recruit class is set to begin Tuesday, November 7th at 6:30 PM,  With another to follow after the first of the year. 

This program is not for everyone.  It is physically challenging, as well as mentally.  Honor, Courage, Integrity and the willingness to never quit is what this program will strive to instill in the youth who take part.

The Young Marines of Northwest Ohio will begin their next recruit training class in February, 2007.

Interested youth or parents may contact Mrs. Campbell for more information at 419-729-5558 or email at jaimec35@bex.net.

One or two registration and information sessions will take place in January.  Check back for date, time and location. 

Space is limited, and sign up is on a first come, first serve basis.
