Eleven new recruits reported to their first night of boot camp.  Led by two senior Young Marines and numerous Registered Adult Staff, the new recruits learned the positions of "attention" and "at ease", and basic turning movements such as "right face," "left face" and "about face".  Recruits also learned to sound off (yell loudly) and basic courtesy and grooming standards.

All eleven recruits successfully completed the first night of training by working hard and listening to their instructors.  Great job Recruits!!

The recruits reviewed their drill movements from last week, and began learning to march.  Basic Guidebooks were distributed, and the recruits were measured for their uniforms.  The recruit class sounded off a little louder this week as they began to feel more comfortable in the Young Marine environment.  At the final formation, recruits were challenged to learn the Young Marine Creed and Obligation for next week's drill.

This week, the recruits continued to work on drill.  More advanced movements were covered, and practiced.  Recruits also went over the Young Marine Creed and Obligation.  The beginning of their new uniform was issued.  Boots, belts, t-shirts and covers were distributed.
